WHEEL SAFETY DEVICE PROLUX GRIP ACCORDING TO VDI 2700 8.1
Lashing systems for securing loads on transport vehicles must comply with the loading guidelines from the German Association of Engineers (VDI) 2700 Sheet 8.1 (Load securing on road vehicles - Securing of cars and light commercial vehicles on vehicle transporters) and 8.2 (Load securing on road vehicles - Securing of heavy commercial vehicles on vehicle transporters).
The new VDI has not yet been adopted, but as we have already carried out all the necessary tests for VDI 2700 8.1 for our wheel securing belts by the German Technical Inspection Agency (TÜV Süd), we can already mention this here.

Our new ProLux Grip wheel safety device fulfils the requirements of the currently valid VDI 2700. Our new ProLux Grip wheel safety device has the following specifications:
- Car preload force (STF) determined at 330 daN
- Force transmission shown with ETA value is ≥ 0.5
This means that at least 50% of the applied force reaches the opposite side - Webbing elongation < 4%
- 35 mm belts LC direct 1500 daN, 50 mm belts LC direct 2500 daN
- The length of the ProLux Grip 35 and ProLux Grip 50 controllers is 1100 mm, meaning that 180° overtensioning can be achieved on almost all wheels

The new ProLux Grip 35 and ProLux Grip 50 controller is characterised by its own label.
- ETA value ≥ 0.5
- Length: 1100 mm
- Combination of tensioning strap/controller: For the best interaction between strap and controller, this has been tested by the German Technical Inspection Agency (TÜV Süd).

Lashing strap with Fliplabel
The lashing straps used for the transport of cars must comply with DIN EN 12195-2 and fulfil the following minimum requirements:
- Applicable standard: DIN EN 12195-2
- Elongation: ≤ 4%
- LC: 1,500 daN
- Webbing width: at least 35 mm
