Types and applications of hand lamps

Before buying a hand lamp, it is important to clarify what the purpose of the hand lamp is. Flashlights, also named torch lights are handy and always at hand in a trouser pocket. A flashlight can also be very helpful during daytime in the dark engine compartment. If a hand lamp is to be used as a work lamp, for example in a workshop and illuminate a vehicle or a larger working area, it must be stable or offer a suspension possibility. Built-in magnets for attachment are also an advantage. When using LED hand lamps, pay particular attention to a widely diffused and intensive light. The higher the indication in lumen of the LED illuminant, the brighter the light. Built-in rechargeable batteries in work lamps are more economical than normal batteries. With our LED hand lamps, the charger and charging cable are always included. Work lamps in the form of rod lamps are mainly used as a fixed work light and are attached above the work area to be illuminated by means of a hook or magnet. ProLux inspection lights are also available with direct mains connection or power supply unit for continuous operation.

The inspection lamp

Hand lamps from ProLux for the workshop are used to provide additional light when working around the vehicle and to optimally illuminate a specific area. A base, integrated magnets and rotating hooks provide variable, stable mounting options. As power supply we mainly offer integrated Li-Ion batteries. The Li-Ion technology of rechargeable batteries is proven and powerful. Lights with mains connection are also available.
