Foundation

Many great stories start with a young pioneer in his small garage, including that of ProLux Managing Director Georg Windeisen. While working as a tow truck driver, he lost a rare tool for opening incorrectly parked cars. Being technically adept, he produces the opening tool himself without further delay - and thus the business idea and the company were born.

Together with 3 employees, Georg Windeisen succeeds in steadily expanding the company. Ongoing product range expansions and product innovations also make it possible to move into the first company premises Am Schinderwasen 7 in Blaustein.

ProLux is now a regional service partner of Bott GmbH & Co. KG. As a result, the area of vehicle and operating equipment is growing in importance and is becoming part of the strategy of a "systems provider".

ProLux achieves further development competencies in the field of commercial vehicles through the acquisition of the supplier KompLED Light Systems. The company continues as a subsidiary with independent production at the location Lindenstraße 15.

Over the years, the core business of towing accessories has been steadily expanded to include other services. ProLux now develops complete solutions in the form of advertising concepts, workwear and vehicle equipment using the name "ProLux Principle".
