Storage box heating - retrofit kit

The storage box heating for retrofitting in 24 V vehicles has a heating capacity of 70 W. The insulating base plate, which only emits (most) heat upwards, prevents direct heat emission to the storage box floor. Thus a higher efficiency is achieved. The built-in microprocessor-controlled electronics activates the internal heating module only from 27 V (generator voltage) and below 30°C outside temperature.
This has the advantage that no separate switch for the heating is needed for switching on/off. The "draining" of the vehicle accumulators when the engine is not running is prevented. Heating even at higher temperatures in summer allows the goods to dry in the storage box and prevents corrosion. We recommend the installation of the supplied ventilation system to allow warm and humid air to be transported out of the box. All components used are weatherproof.
